THE SWASH: CONNECTING LETTERS SINCE 2020
Swash, the term given to a typographical flourish, is the name I gave to my magazine about hand lettering. I utilized my own hand lettering to create this magazine, and I used engaging grid structures to make the content flow from page to page. For this project, I designed and laid out the cover, table of contents, a department, and two features. Varying styles were used throughout the magazine to show the versatility of hand lettering. I used bold colors and fun illustrations throughout the magazine to engage readers.
