GET OUT THE VOTE

These posters were created for the 2020 election to encourage people to get out and vote. The first poster reads, "Not voting stacks up." It depicts the letters in "vote" stacked up in the form of a building with the polling location on the bottom floor. The empty parking lot signifies the lack of voter engagement, leading to continued racism, poverty, injustice, inequality, no healthcare, and income disparity (as seen written out in the parking lot spaces). This design was resized to fit the size of a banner and a flyer. I also created a motion graphic web banner (watch it below with your sound on). This poster won Student Honorable Mention in the Kansas City's Center for Architecture & Design's 2020 "Raise Your Voice" poster contest.

The second poster reads, "You share your opinions on social media. Why not share them to make change? Use your voice to vote." This poster specifically targets college students. Young people are always sharing their voice on social media, but very few get out to actually vote.
